Imagine a Country Park, with one of the finest tree collections in Scotland and a castle overlooking the iconic beauty of Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond. Imagine a Country Park for people and nature, a place for quiet reflection, a place to learn and a place to play. Imagine a Country Park only an hour’s train ride from the centre of Scotland’s biggest city that has free access for all.
You have imagined Balloch Castle Country Park in the bustling village of Balloch, the entrance to the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.

BUT IT NEEDS YOUR HELP

The Park is loved by everyone who visits but looking after it requires more than the current funding that it receives. The castle is closed to public, two lodge buildings are vacant, there is no toilet provision at the busy lochside, signage is vandalised and maintaining 217 acres for people, plants and wildlife is expensive

Whether you’re able to make a one-off donation or join us as a regular donor, your support will mean the park will not only survive, but thrive as an important part of the lives of local people and a visitor attraction that Scotland can be proud of.

Just Giving is a secure, trusted fundraising platform and makes donating easy for you (and us!). Just click on the ‘Donate with JustGiving’ button and follow the easy steps to set up your payment.

This is how your support could help

A regular donation of £10 per month will help us continue to manage projects and programmes
A £25 donation could help us plan and deliver educational programmes with local children
A £50 donation could help with ongoing community projects such the walled garden
A £250 donation could support a large project such as the restoration of Balloch Castle

YOUR SUPPORT WILL MAKE SUCH A DIFFERENCE

The Balloch Castle Country Park Regeneration Group is reliant on grants and donations to fund community, environmental and restoration projects and programmes.

With pressures growing and investment in greenspaces and Scottish heritage declining, donations for specific restoration projects, environmental education and services for visitors and local communities are more important than ever.

Your support not only helps us provide a voice for the future of the park but to shape its future.

We’d like you to be part of that. With your support, we can transform Balloch Castle Country Park into an exemplar, a place that local people will be proud of and an inspiration to others.

Thank you for your support. You are helping to protect and improve Balloch Castle Country Park now and for future generations.
